Re: $179 a gram as a TSV, really?

This is an easy pass for me.  I never was a fan of initial jewelry and this looks paper thin.

They are calling this Italian gold, but in Italy the gold standard is usually 18 k. Furthermore, the close ups of this piece look very cheap and the chain very thin. Can't believe QVC calling this a TSV!

This looks like a very trendy piece, not something timeless and classic.  If I were so inclined to purchase something like this, it would be a costume piece.  I mean you can get something like this in costume for under $10.00 from Amazon.

Much of the 18k looks too brassy and cheap.  It looks like fake goldtone metal.

Sold most of my gold for just under $4,000.00. Only kept what I really wear.

TSV design is not for me and looks cheap.

I'm looking at the same necklace at Macy's on sale for 175.00 with an extra coupon to make it 140.00 Italian made.

Oh and free shipping

Chain looks extremely thin and flimsy.  Can't imagine that it would remain intact in one piece for very long.  What a big disappointment.

I still have my favorite bangles, omega etc from the 90's.  Sold the rest.  Mom gave me her two 14k diamond tennis bracelets.  All the high priced gold and they are charging shipping too!

I was not tempted at all.  I would have purchased a neckalce where the letters hung properly and I could spell something other than D O G!
