The clues being given are very tempting. So far, they have incriminated almost everyone!

Yes, it must be deliberate that everyone could be the killer.

The alienist  profiled the killer and everyone has some attribute, even Mary Palmer.

I did see where Sara thinks the alienist is lying about his "crippled" arm.

Then I fell asleep!!

I am reading The Alienist again. There are so many subplots and characters. They really pared it down for the tv screenplay.

As a little boy, Dr Kreizler performed a piano concerto that wouldn’t be possible with just one arm.

I also believe his housekeeper knows.

I wondered how they were going to veer back into the book. I admit I like the tv show better since we don’t go into all the extra characters and subplots.

@SilleeMee, I read this book when it first came out, I don't remember much about it. I was thinking that person was the killer too, but is it maybe a red herring to throw us off track?

You know, after watching the last episode, I'm not sure anymore. But I still think the doctor has something to do with it. @Jordan2

This and Counterpart on Starz are my two favorite current shows.

I just don't know about the good doctor.
