First of all, I'm the odd man out. I think it's a really good season.

Erika and her sunglasses....puhhhhleeze. She looked ridiculous in that meeting with the publishers. She's not a rock star.

I don't blame Kyle for being upset with Lisa V. Lisa V. does hold Kyle to a different standard. Kyle was a bit of a pot stirrer telling Lisa all Dorit said, but Lisa should have been more appreciative of that and been more loyal to Kyle. There's always a bit of acrimony between Kyle and Lisa. I do not think they are as good of friends as they try to appear they are. Lisa V. always has some beef with Kyle. And, I'm certainly not a fan of Kyles.

Dorit is the biggest pot stirrer. She's not loyal either and never should have said those things about Lisa V. I do think Lisa V. is a bit needy-she tries to act like she's not but she is deep down. It may have been due to her childhood.

Love Teddi. She seriously has her sheit together more than any of these women. Whenever Dorit is called out, she just starts yelling and talking over everyone and manipulating the situation to look as if the person calling her out is crazy. She totally "gaslights' the other person. I can't stand Dorit. She's so self serviing and loves to cause trouble.

I too like this season but this was my least favorite episode. I can't stand it when they start screaming and Kyle starts crying.

As much as I can't stand Dorit I don't think that conversation/screaming match should have been brought up at the Mag Cover Party. I think it should have been done in private.

Dorit always acts clueless when she in confronted...like she has no idea what she did. She is just a trouble maker.

Erikas book meeting was staged IMO. She is not that important.

I totally agree that Lisa and Kyles relationship does not seem as strong as Kyle thinks it is. Lisa does appear to be needy at times and she certainly does like attention.

I did laugh when I saw her wearing 6" heels walking in Central Park.

Maybe not the popular opinion here, but I can see Kyle's point. She (and Teddi) was getting the heat for the conversation about Erika's leaving all while Lisa sat there silent. Plus it seems Lisa does hold her to a different standard than Dorit. If I were Kyle, I'd be hurt too if a friend of 10 yrs. treated me like that. Dorit, is a little troublemaker and it's high time they all call her out on it in a group setting, including Lisa VDP.

Agree...a good friend should not do that. That's why I don't think they are really true friends. I think they are acquaintances and the friend thing is pumped up for the show. I bet they do very little socialising off camera.

I watched it last night. Erika did look really ridiculous in that meeting with those sunglasses on.

That whole debacle after the magazine party was a sheit show. First, Dorit was talking in circles earlier with Lisa in the park. It was like she was trying to pretend she was coming clean with Lisa when in reality, she wasn't even close.

Of course Kyle was confronting her because they never do anything in private. What fun would that be? I'm sure this was all edited out but when Dorit was acting as if Kyle was a loon and didn't know what she was talking about accusing Dorit of saying what she did, the only person who seemed to come to Kyle's defense was Teddi. The other women were at that dinner, except for Lisa V, but not one of them said "yeah Dorit. You did say all that." It seemed as if they all sat there and let Kyle hang out there in the wind by herself. I'm also not sure why LV didn't say anything either about the fact that Dorit was talking about her behind her back.

Camille and LR walking about to the car was an eyeroller for me. LR was saying "we're going home. we have kids" like they are so above it all. We all know LR is usually right in the thick of everything, causing the problems. I also might be in the minority on this but I still have no use for Camille. I just don't like her. There is something about her personality that is just off putting to me. Plus I don't like the fact that she acted so outraged over what Dorit said, then so easily made up with her at Teddi's spa day, then brought it up once again at Teddi's beach house.

I also don't like the fact that Erika was so non-commital about with the ladies about what happened when Kyle confronted Dorit. She kept asking questions as if she didn't understand. Then when pretty much everyone walked away, she admitted she would have been upset with Dorit. Why wouldn't she open up her mouth earlier?

I've been enjoying this season, and I think that Teddi is a good addition to the show. There needs to be a "normal" acting person on each of the franchises. I thought that Kyle was overboard upset, with all the crying, after she confronted Dorit. On the other hand, I don't blame her for being irritated with Lisa V. Since the very beginning of season one, I've felt that the only way that their "friendship" works is if Kyle tows the line and is submissive to Lisa V. It makes me cringe.

As for Erika's meeting being staged - of course it was. It's free publicity for her upcoming book. Every publishing house wants free publicity. As for Dorit...yes, she is a major pot-stirrer. I find her annoying, pretentious, and I would never want to be a friend with her in real life, but I do think she provides "entertainment value" for the show.

On wwhl, a caller asked Dorit what happened to her accent when she was doing her song thing at her house...and that she sounded as American as the rest of us. Dorit said that she doesn't know and whatever comes out, comes out. She also said that maybe she doesn't have an accent when she sings.

Most people don't have an accent when they sing.

Look at Clare Bowen on Nashville. She has a very heavy Australian accent in real life. Not only does she lose that accent when she sings, she has adapted a southern accent. Same with the guy that plays Gunnar.

That always amazes me. LOL
