It seems a lot of women of that time suffered horrible endings. Living at court or being a royal member was not a glamorous life for all.  I enjoy reading historical novels and I think you for your comments!  Also it's sad how religion played such a part in these feuds and deaths, it still does in some places.

@SharkE  It is also noted that as a young man Henry VIII was considered a very handsome man in his day.  He was like a "rock star" by today's standards.
