Though I prefer the earlier episodes and liked Joe as her sidekick much better than Aiden, Vera is an exceptional show.

I  love the Vera shows.....and have even purchased a season or two..............BUT i wish they would produce 

the shows as HOURLY shows and do more of them.....

I feel when it goes to almost an hour and half the story could be told in a hour and drags out a bit.............and i would love to see more of her mysteries....

That's one of my favorite shows, I've seen all the episodes.  I can't wait for next season.  I watch it Britbox or perhaps it's AcornTv.  I don't think it's anything at all like Columbo.  Vera doesn't play dumb, she's a brilliant detective who is always 4 steps ahead of everyone else...and let's people know it.
