James Arness and Clark Gable were the two people my best friend would write love letters to when we were growing up.
Mine was James Garner, always James Garner.
We both knew way more than people should know about these celebrities. Ha! She and I had so many 8X10 black and white photos of these guys, it was crazy.
Back then they always sent out 8X10 black and white head shots with writing across them.

This isn't from the film.
I live in Albuquerque. This is me in my backyard.
I still maintain our centipedes were the inspiration for The Tingler.
@just bee I remember that The Tingler was scary for me at the time. It is on dvd and the blood has been tinted red in the black/white film.

I probably have mentioned in previous posts I am a fan of Sci Fi and horror movies. I have been since a young girl. I love all the Sci Fi films from the era of Them. I watched this movie for the umteenth time today and have it on my DVR for a future viewing!! It is well acted and a classic and while I know the story inside out, I still pay full attention!!!! I wish TCM would play other great old Sci Fi movies from the fifties. There are so many I loved!!!
