"Pure Country" 30th Anniversary

Calling all George Strait fans!!  His movie "Pure Country" is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.  The CMT channel is showing the movie from 5-8 p.m. Central Time today and from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. tomorrow.  For those of you who haven't seen this movie, it is about a country singer who wants to step away from the limelight and get back to his "roots".  It was actually written for George Strait.  It's very sweet, the music in it is fabulous, and George looks exceptionally handsome!!!!

DH and I try to watch Pure Country every time it's on TV.

 

Love the music and George Strait of course.

I am also a Strait Man fan. Love him and that movie. Haven't seen it since the 25th anniversary. 😝 Dusty.  I got to briefly meet him when the CMA's were held at MSG in 2005. 
I love old school country.

Love him!   Have seen the movie many times.  Went to see it at the movie theater when it first came out.  

The music is great, but the story is a little cheesy.

 

Leslie Ann Warren really over acted.

 

 

I’ve seen George Strait in concert twice.  Wow he’s great!
