@They Call Me MR Wilkes

How 'bout 'Harvest Moon' - Neil Young.

I'm watching 'A Quiet Place' (good movie!) that has that song in it and it sure brings back a lot of good songs from back-in-the-day!

Severa; weeks ago there was a post asking about your favorite love songs; happy or sad.  Please Come to Boston was one of the four that I listed.  That song had a lot of meaning for me and I used to feel a hollowness in my  chest when I would hear it and just now reading that Dave Loggins passed I got that same feeling.   Isn't it strange that practically a lifetime later you can still recall how you felt.

Annie's Song is one of my very favorite songs. It's a very special song to me.

And such a talent lost with Dave Loggins' passing.

I'm coming Boston, see you in a few days although I don't really like the long drive to get there, but I am coming.

I have absolutely always adored this song!  So touching and you can really hear the emotion in his voice, music and the words.  He was so very talented and wrote songs for so many peopole.  Every time I hear this song I kind of get choked up and it reminds me of things from my past.  Music from my time - nothing like it.  Music was really real and a lot of songs were written to make you feel strong emotions.  The songs have stood the test of time.
