Went to see this feature film. It is rather lengthy but much of the emphasis is on feminism, oppression of women, and the male outlook on educated females back in the late 1800's and early 1900's.
Well acted, good sets and costumes.
English subtitles.
I say "why not" see it. It has it's good points.

This film was released in Europe a couple of months ago and all my relatives loved it. Did you watch it in the cinema?

It doesn't sound entertaining; if I pay $12 to see movie, I want to be entertained. If I want history or politics, I buy a book. Sounds like the type of movie I might watch on cable, when it's free.
