Im not real sure why but I do like The Aurora Teagarden Mystery Series.  Watched the season premere movie.  It was just ok, not as spooky as I thought it would be.

Same ugly hair/wig/extensions on Aurora, and her mom Aida (Marilou Henner) still the same old hair on her too.

The worse thing to me was whatever they did to poor Aurora's husband, fake beard, big bushy eyebrows, I did not recognise him and thought they had a new actor playing Prof Miller.  But its the same Niall Matter.

I am also sorry that Manda Frigon as Lynn Smith will not be on anymore.

But they did keep Sally the same, she is my favorite and I still enjoyed the show.

@Imaoldhippie   Lynn isn't going to be on anymore?  Do you know why not?  They didn't seem to do anything to phase out her character in the recent movie that I remember.

@NickNack ...............Thats my understanding she will not be on anymore episodes.  She has chosen to do something else.  I read her bio and she is accomplished in many things, music is one and she has her own band.

Her name is Miranda Frigon. I couldn't find any information about her leaving the series. So, hopefully she will continue.

I too admit to being distracted trying to figure him out. I honestly don't recall - as far as I know, there wasn't a "new" murder and the investigations focused on the prior deaths (I also didn't see who was found in the shed.) Did I completely miss something huge??

the daughter of the neighbor was digging for the $$ that her father (I think) stole. I think the father was the murderer.   I don't think the daughter killed anyone, which made the ending a little extreme to me with her fighting with Ro and the lumberjack. Then the police came and really treated her like a hardened criminal vs someone who was just digging in a neighbor's yard, so I honestly don't know what I missed!  LOL I thought I was paying attention too. 🤷‍♀️

Your spoiler alert was correct about the murderer. I watched again today and caught the bottom line. The movie was very disappointing.. You really had to watch with no distractions.

I enjoyed the marathon this weekend, loved the wedding episode, Roe looked so beautiful. But
I don't know, I just really liked Martin. I wish they had kept him.

I heard Niall Matter had an accident and needed the beard through production. It seems like no one likes that look, and I'm sure he doesn't either. But I'm sure it's temporary. I do think it's the same Philip though. He just got a little older.
