Hi @nova

Grew up in Cherry Hill, NJ and my friends in the class of '79 had a class trip planned (that I went on with them though I was 2 years behind).

The school was either taking the seniors to Great Adventure or CLASS ACTION PARK as it's called now...most of the seniors wanted to go someplace close, so Great adventure won out over Action Park.

I have HBO - but of course not HBOMAX!

I hope this comes out on one of the other HBO formats so I can see it.

I watched a documentary on the making of this, and was never-so-glad we went closer to home for a day of death defying rides!

I don't get HBO, but the documentary sounds interesting. I grew up in NJ and was also a teenager in the 70's but I never went to Action Park. I wasn't too action-y I guess-Smiley Happy I did know people that went though.
