The beloved Christmas classic has everything--  Stanwyck, adorable Dennis Morgan singing and romancing her, comedy, a MAGNIFICENT house, Sydney Greenstreet and hilarious "Cuddles" Sakall.  One of my favorite films, with one of my favorite all-time actresses.

TCM will repeat on Christmas Eve at 6:00 p.m. Eastern.

This is such a great movie.

I think my 3 favorite classic holiday movies are White Christmas, Christmas in Connecticut and Holiday Affair with Robert Mitchum and Janet Leigh.

It must have been on the Movies! channel last week because I watched it then. But worth watching again just to watch the cast of characters.

And Reginald Gardiner - don't you just know who he is by his name? Dennis Morgan what a cutie. S. Z. Sakall added the touch to make the movie believable. And Barbara Stanwyck pulling it all together.

Is there anyone in moviedom more adorable than S. Z. "Cuddles" Sakall?  He is so appealing that -- I swear -- had we lived in different times and places, I'd have been tempted to ask him to marry me.  And I'm the kind of girl who would never call the boy first...

So precious.  He always heightened the enjoyment of a film for me.

One of my top Christmas movies; you can't go wrong with this superb cast! I'd love to have that beautiful stone house. I've already seen this one this year but it's worth watching again. There was no other like S.Z. Sakal.
