The definitive, unremittingly hilarious, screwball comedy by director Howard Hawks.  Cary Grant's absent-minded professor collides with Hepburn's kooky heiress (plus pet leopard) with memorable results.

So many pleasures in this, including the fabulous Connecticut country house of Hepburn's aunt.  The sequence with the hysterically befuddled rural police force trying to sort out Grant's and Hepburn's guilt or innocence begs watching over and over.

This is the bubbling, magic elixir if looking for laughs on a tedious blue Monday!

I thought it was Katherine Hepburn's birthday today because TCM is showing movies that she starred in, all day today until 8 PM tonight. But it is not her birthday. Guess the programmer just decided that it was a good time to show her movies.

And no better classic movie than "Bringing Up Baby". And what a delightful cast.
