My favorite version was another Masterpiece Theater one with Isabelle Adjani and Sean Bean as Vronsky. When watching it you could melt the TV screen with the chemistry between those two.
Actually Sophie Marceau was Anna in the 1997 version. And yes, Sean Bean played Vronsky.

YIKES!! You're right. Thanks for the correction. Sophie Marceau was so gorgeous as Anna Karenina. Her and Sean Bean....well, let's just say the TV melted.....
