I agree that Whitney needs to give Buddy his space.  He needs time to figure out his life.

 

As far as adopting a child is concerned, I don't think she is serious about that at this time in her life.  I think it's a made up story line to keep us interested in the show.  Next week is the season finale (already, darn!) and I'll bet when the show starts up again, there is no mention of a baby.  

 

I really like Whitney and I like the show!
