I had to turn it off with the dog's cries.  I can't bear to hear animals in distress like most people.  So happy to see Maxine home and resting.  Poor old girl had a harrowing ordeal.  Live PD is great when there are animals involved.  I'm a long time fan.

Thanks for the update @Lori Kaye .  I was afraid the dog might not make it after seeing it again when they did the update from home.  I was hoping it was just recovering from the trauma, but it didn't look good.  Probably age and the kidney issues didn't help.  At least she died in comfort at home.

I didn't see the original rescue, but I saw the update. I told my SO that she did not look good at all (tongue hanging out, not moving, etc). Maybe at her advanced years, her body couldn't handle the trauma. Did they ever say how long she was down there?
