empire season 2 finally crossed the line with me

First season, i loved this show! cutting edge ect. This season, from the beginning with Cookie in the gorilla suit (really?) questionable.

This show gets raunchier every show! And the "stars" are just lined up to make a cameo or bit part. I'm sure to get their name out there.

Last week, just crossed the line with me. They had the painting "artist" trying to foist his "affections" on Jamal, and then later his boyfriend. This is primetime tv for crying out loud. Call me a prude, whatever, i just can't watch this anymore.

I'm over it too. In fact I delete the last weeks episode without wAtching. There are just too many other things to watch that are better.

The show is supposed to raunchy and raw and we're supposed to go "ohhhhh, no he didn't!". The "seduction" scene might have been too much for some and since the show comes on at 9pm and young teens watch it; I think it was inappropriate. I remember Cookie in the Gorilla suit, I didn't see anything wrong with that. It was Cookie, for heaven's sake. Do anything, say anything Cookie. It's not like she was flashing anything in that costume. As for the cameos and guest starts; I like the show but I am not by any stretch of the imagination a fan hip hop/rap afficionado. So, I don't even know who is star in that genre and who isn't. The girls at work have to tell me the next day.

Chrystal, you said how I feel better than I could have. I like some of the music. I think it should at least be on at 10:00. I REALLY think it should be on cable but the problem with that means other people have to pay to see it and I don't think that's fair.
