Re: dancing with the stars fall, 2025

I'll be watching on Hulu tomorrow.  I want more songs like "hold on I'm coming" by Sam and Dave.  The tend to have music I like when they're dancing the jive.

Re: dancing with the stars fall, 2025

I watched off and on, flipped the channel back and forth but missed much of it because I didn't recognize over half of the "stars".  What happended to bringing on a variety of stars, ones that most people recognize? Maybe I'm in the minority in knowing who the "stars" were but that's ok.  From what I saw most of the contestants were younger, no one that I saw appeared to be over 45 maybe?  Don't think I will be watching much

@Goodie2shoes - I'm in the minority with you, because I only knew 3 of the so called "stars". They seem to be featuring more influencers and reality stars, none of which I would call "stars".  I have been watching since the very first show and the celebrities were more well known. I'll still watch, but they seem to be gearing to the much younger crowd

Re: dancing with the stars fall, 2025

Since when were "influencers" and reality personalities "stars"?  I guess that term has lost a lot of its meaning.

I maybe know two or three of this season's contestants.  I watched the opening, but then switched it off.  I'll get back to it, but I just wasn't in the mood tonight.

[ Edited ]

I thought the worst dance of the night was football player Baron and Britt.

They danced to M.C. Hammer. She danced all around him yet his numbers

were 5's. He deserved 4's. He was not good.

I actually thought Corey Feldman and Jenna were a lot better than how the

judges voted, Derek gave them a lousy 4.

Also trying I thought was the oldest dancer Andy Richter with Emma. At least

he was trying his best and again a rotten 4.

They should have brought in a substitute judge, those two didn't cut it without

Carrie Ann.

Seemed the actual stars of the show didn't appear until the 10:00 hour. At

least that's the way I felt.

All the no names that most people don't know seemed to go in the first hour.

When you have to learn who the "stars' are, then you know they don't really

belong on here, but that's the only people I guess they could get to appear.

Robert Irwin was FANTASTIC! I actually watched his dance twice. Hope he

wins the season, I know it's early!!!

I haven't watched it yet.  As I saw the line-up, I was thinking -- I don't really know too many of these people.  I miss Len Goodman - he was old school and tried to keep to the rules when judging.  I really don't like Julianne Hough and am not crazy about Alphonso (sp).  I also miss Tom - he was so funny.  I do enjoy Bruno -- he keeps things lively!

@sunshine45  Yes!  It's been raining hard all day...windy and damp and chilly.  I had to turn the heater on in my office for a bit because it was so damp.

How about you?

Re: dancing with the stars fall, 2025

I love DWTS. I love the music, the costumes, the makeup, the choreography.

I think Alfonso does a great job. Tom Bergeron was perfect. I do miss him & Len.

Julianne is fine.

I love that Derek always has some positive comments on any dance. He & Bruno are kind but they tell the dancers what they need to hear.

As far as the stars there are always a few I know, a few I don't know & some of them become favorites.

I was super excited to see Mark Ballas back & can't wait to see what he does.

Danielle Fishel & Pasha are going to be fun.

Jenna did her best with Corey Feldman & he is an interesting character.

Alix Earle was good with Val, but I don't think I care for her.

Rylee has such great energy & she may do really well with Scott Hoying. He has some moves.

Andy Richter & Emma did the best that they could & he was sweet.

Dylan Efron & Danielle...not great but he is up for a challenge & she is awesome.

Alix/Val & Hilaria/Gleb were my 2 bottom picks last night.

Robert Irwin & Witney....the team to beat. He was amazing. Dancing & personality.
