Classics that aren't musicals: Sayonara, Houseboat, Operation Petticoat, An Affair to Remember, Back Street, and so many others. GWTH is definitely in a class by itself!

I was actually in the telephone scene of Bye Bye Birdie when I was in school. I used to sing the whole thing to my children. They were less than impressed! LOL!

@Regal Bee Welcome!🥰 My most sincere apologies for the late response!❤ Her place was SO girly girl!❤ The pretty furniture, her BEAUTIFUL clothes, perfect hair and makeup, BRILLIANT acting; the unusual plot; it all WORKED making for such a memorable movie!! The movies of that era were just SOOO well done!😁 I was inspired to watch it again recently based on your post and several others!😁
