@loveschocolate  Seems like CBS should have been reading this thread. So far, of everyone posting it sounds like none of us is still actually fully watching the show. I deleted it from my DVR last week and haven't even been tempted to tune in. It's just so bad and yes, Bold and Beautiful isn't far behind. Young and Restless had become completely mundane. Bold and Beautiful is purely sophomoric. If it has any appeal left at all, it's pretty much to that part of each of us that maintains a small bit of the high school mentality. They're both really bad. I've been checking out other soaps. Prime time is no better so I like to record something during the day to watch, well sort of watch, later in the evening. If neither of the other soaps captures my attention over the long haul then maybe, like you, I'll use the time to actually get things done.

My guess is these several cross-over non-events are an attempt to bolster the ratings of both shows... I know these remain the top rated soaps, though I don't know how... Maybe the ratings have slipped lately... if they have, I can understand why...

Most of the time at night I catch the next days episode of Y&R on Youtube.

I like to do it this way because no commercials and I zip through it in about

30 minutes. Not wasting a full hour every afternoon with this nonsense.

I will give it up when nice spring/summer weather comes anyway then come

back again in the fall. It just passes the time for me when stuck so much in

the house during winter.

Wish the Faith storyline would come to an end. Hopes Rey busts her for

drinking and then probably Sharon will break up with him. He is so boring.

Also guessing Abby's storybook baby will probably have a couple problems

along the way. Chance just stands around like Abby's robot/ lost puppy

and whatever she wants she gets. Wonder how long this will last?

Just finished watching the weeks shows......was really turned off by the new storyline of  Elena and Devon making out............i mean....are they gonna cheat now on Nate

and Amanda??  I was liking Nate & Elena together..........and i think they should have only gone in that direction IF Elena and Devon were gonna actually get back together...but doubting that.  dumb.

Jack and Sally these days....ugh

I was hoping Lauren would get Sally's number...and deal with her........................they have just made Jack stupid and gullible these days after Theo and now Sally.  You think after Theo he would have wised up......

Can;t wait til Chelsea and Sharon work together.....alot of eye blinking then!!!

Hmmm... I didn't see that but I wouldn't miss him... I did see where it's going to turn out that he's reproductively challengend as well as Abby and that even a surrogate is not an option... Apparently, they both have issues...

I also read where Elena ends up playing 'who's your daddy' between Dull Devon and Nate... Saw that one coming...

Yes - the actor who portrays Chance announced on his social media that tomorrow is his last air date. Apparently it was not his idea - the show cut him for costs.

Wow, he's history... Just saw it on Soap Digest... He says they told him on Christmas Eve, which just goes to show how rotten people can be... Wonder why this news is just breaking now... Also says several contract players will be let go... Do we get a vote...

For those who haven't read about Donny Boaz.  

Y&R is so ROTTEN doing this to him and then doing it to him

on Christmas Eve. Big Jerks!

Then we hear about only hours to go until his last episode. I bet 

he was dying to sound off about the idiots at Y&R but did it in a

kind way or probably won't get much work from other places in

the near future.

So Chance just walks away is what Donny, Chance, thinks. Like

they would tell him what they are up too. 

Probably needs to cool his head off with all Abby is putting through,

she has his head spinning. The way Chance is attached to Abby at

the hip, his leaving her makes zero sense!

Then in no time or little time, Abby's real life hubby gets back on

the show. Magic for Abby and this storyline.

I hope the show loses a lot with the ratings over this. The idiots

had to screw over Gina Tognoni and now this.
