I wounder if the big secret Phyllis has to keep is Jeremy Stark is an undercover Federal Agent that has been working on a really big case for years. He really wasn't in prison before and that's why he got out so easily from the Chicago jail. That's the only way I can see Phyllis vindicating herself.

that would be a tweak of bold/beautiful storyline.

The red carpet was cheesy but I loved Sally and Nick, Sharon and Adam (who date in real life)) getting their picture.  I hope Sally eats her heart out.  No disrespect, but there was too much time focused on Neil Winters when I wanted some action and excitement.  I guess the gala will go on for another week.  I couldn't help myself, my heart went out to crazy Phyllis.  I know she's got plans but it's going to boomerang and her kids will live with the guilt of treating her ugly when it's clear she's got a mental process ongoing.

i think they are a couple of years late, in honoring Neil. But it was nicely done and maybe fix the family. Mamie sure looked good!

Re: Young and Restless...2023

It almost seems like Stark and Phyllis are setting up Diane to take the fall for killing Phyllis.  Is she going to fake her death like Diane did?  Does Stark have a fake gun?  Gee, got to admit...it makes one wonder why they will lure Diane to the hotel room.

Phyllis was "acting" like she may commit suicide when she said those "last words" to her 2 kids.  Guess anything's possible.

And once all heck breaks out at the Gala, Chelsea will have a huge relapse too.  Maybe that's how she goes on PG leave.

Anyone else have theories they want to share? Cat Wink

I don't understand the point of those dopey looking masks at a fancy dress bicentennial party.  It's not Halloween or mardi-gras.

@aubnwa01  I'm guessing the wardrobe designer ran across a counter of "Sequined Masks on a Stick" at the closeout of the local Party City store.

Re: Young and Restless...2023

@kindred cats I was wondering if Phyliss & Jeremy were planning a fake suicide --the way Phyliss's dialogue was going. That would be a mistake IMO after the writers had a near suicide plot with Chelsea successfully averted.

@okaywitheasypay , yes I thought of that SL being overdone also, however, I don't put anything past these writers. Cat Sad

Re: Young and Restless...2023

Maybe I missed something.....when Phyllis was at Jack's home, didn't she take Diane's engagement ring out of Diane's purse and steal it? Later, Jack put it on Diane's finger before the party. So Diane still had it.

@nanny24 .... Phyllis looked at the diamond ring and slyly got it back into Diane's purse before she left.  No, she didn't take it with her. Cat Happy

Monday in primetime, a Y&R 50th anniversary special. Told my husband, that's what we're watching!
