@kindred cats - I'm sorry I didn't watch today's old episode.  I don't remember that happening to Ashley, but have only watched since around 2005.

You may be on to something, why else would they show that particular old episode?

I hope they do keep Tucker around, he's a character who at least keeps things interesting. I also think he's one of the better actors on the show.

It was an episode to remember. So many of the cast members were there looking both young and restless. I enjoyed seeing it.

Back in the 1980's, Ashley was having an affair with Victor & got pregnant, then Nikki got some fatal mystery disease & Victor rushed  back to her side & Ashley had a secret abortion & then, had a mental break.

Some years later, Victor & Ash were married & I was never really sure if she was actually pregnant when Adam pulled his shenanigans with gas-lighting Ashley with the ghost of his previous deceased wife, Sabrina, causing Ash to fall down stairs & miscarry the child.

So I guess the bizarre dream sequence led to the breakup of Sharon and Chance and the intro of another round of Nick and Sharon.  Hmmm.  Wierd way to get there.
