@deepwaterdotter  No idea, but somehow I wouldn't suspect the major audience for this kind of thing is watching TV at 1230 in the afternoon. There also is a good bit of rumbling on soap boards about too frequent interruptions, so I'd surmise soap fans either aren't watching or just leave the set on and do other things, though some might just watch whatever is in front of them. I can see interrupting for actual time-sensitive breaking news, but not for things like this, photo ops, or press conferences.

Just have to mention this. Phyllis with her stupid hat and evening gown in the park. She would not want to be noticed,so that was a good idea.They have made her a fool.These writers sure do like the floppy hat thing.

Tired of Phyllis and her nonsense. She looks so ridiculous, thinks she blends

in and of course when Jack and Diane want to talk at the park it is always

available. Phyllis standing back hears every word of the conversation too.

Also, Michael is looking worse every day, hair is so long, think he looks older

than Victor.

I respect Jack for letting Kyle decide whether to further his relationship with Diane. So many characters have their own agendas but Jack isn't interfering. I'm accepting the new actress playing Summer. Also like Kemo's daughter. At this point, Y&R is my favorite soap opera.

Victoria is so setting Ashland up, it isn't funny. Bankrupting him in this new venture and then walking out and over his shocked body will be a moment. 

Congrats to MM. She pulled it together and made one of the best Emmy speeches of the night. Wish they would give her more of a storyline now or give her a hint of Hillary. She's a lawyer. She can afford a streak of wicked.
