The writers simply don't know how to develop and sustain a compelling story or interesting characters. No matter what they try they'll always fall short because they simply don't have the skill set needed to tell interesting stories about people the audience cares about one way or the other. The writing team should have been replaced long ago.

I've noticed this for awhile and it always drives me crazy.  Let's see if I can explain it:  It's when someone is talking to someone and uses their  first name instead of how they are related to someone.

Ex: Nikki will be talking about Victor to Victoria and will say "Victor" instead of saying "your father."

Today, Sharon was talking to Summer and referred to him as "Nick" instead of "your dad" when talking to her.

Make sense?  When my mom referred to my dad to me, she never called him by his first name to me.

Edit: One exception is Michael calling Gloria by her first name.

I think her does this because he left home early, and really did not consider her a mother the way she was.

i was just so tired of the same storylines etc. So one day I just stopped watching

@Lucky Dog I think Sharon does that a lot. She also said Nick to

Faith recently when she was recovering after her surgery instead

of your dad. I thought that was weird too.

I, too am so tired of seeing Tara every day. Especially running

around after a 3 year old in that white pant suit. She looks like 

a ghost in it. To me she looks so much older than Kyle too.

Not sure of their ages but she looks at least 10 years older than

him. Maybe Jack will be vying for her next?

I am convinced that Tara is older than Kyle(and Ashton is older than Tara!).

I thought about the Jack/Tara thing and then I thought "ewww."
