I am totally amazed that there is a funny sitcom since there has not been one in years. The kid that plays young Sheldon is great and the show is funny. It is not stupid, insipid or dirty just proving that it can be done. I will be watching in the beginning of November when it returns.

I only got to see the first half of the show, but really enjoyed it, too. The kid that plays Sheldon.......perfect casting!!

It was charming, warm and funny. It reminded me of the " Wonder Years ". Did you know that the woman who plays young Sheldon's mom, is the real daughter of Laurie Metcalf, the actress who plays old Sheldon's mom ? Great casting !

Wow,now that I know that's Laurie Metcalf's daughter I can really see the resemblance and even the voice similarity. Enjoyed the show.

Glad you said that I knew she reminded me of someone, She is a good choice for Sheldon's mom.

I don't watch Big Bang any more. I think the characters are getting a little old for their roles now. Just like Seinfeld did back in the day. But I thought Young Sheldon was very cute and funny. I'll be watching in Nov. I hope they keep up the quality of the show.

I had no idea that the woman playing Sheldon's mom was Laurie Metcalf's daughter, but without knowing that, just from the promos they've been showing I've thought that she both looks and sounds like LM.

I know that I am in the minority, but I don't care for Big Bang Theory. I like good comedies, but I think the jokes are stale and repetitious. So I wasn't interested in watching Young Sheldon.
