Re: Yellowstone on Paramount

I just noticed yesterday that the second season started!!  There wasn't have much prior advertising! Will have to catch up this weekend with Demand.  I enjoyed the first season!!

Story is a bit strange and choppy, but I love Kevin Costner in that type of show.  Loved Dances With Wolves!!   I also really enjoy the scenery!!

[ Edited ]

I've watched since the beginning.  It does have a bit of the Dallas vibe, but not a lot.  There is no focus on fashion and John Dutton is not quite as ruthless as JR Ewing.  Still, there is plenty of family discord and politics galore.  I like watching what goes on in the cowboy bunkhouse.  The branding situation and initiation was weird!

I love it and anxiously await every new episode.

We watch. I like season two better than one so far.

Re: Yellowstone on Paramount

I  got late starting to watch the show, just started Episode 1 but since I can binge it won't take me long to catch up to Episode 2.  Hard to believe it is Kevin Costner, still remember him from The Bodyguard.

This is a good series.  I am sure it will be invited back for season 3.

Re: Yellowstone on Paramount

It's a great series.    Love the cowboy element, John Dutton is certainly the "Godfather" there.

So who killed the cattle?

Dan, Rainwater or Malcolm & his brother?

Finally caught up On Demand!  This is a good show with great scenery!!   That sister takes the cake!!  What a selfish, psycho b**ch with grave daddy issues!!  Can't believe that  brother Jamie can't stand up to her.

I also wondered who killed the cattle!

Really enjoying Season 2. That sister -- I've got to learn character names. Beth Dutton makes my big sister look like an angel. I also wonder about the cattle slayers. What happened between Beth and Rip - the guy who manages the ranch? John Dutton mubled something at the end of the last show but we couldn't figure that one out. It's a good watch if you like local political drama, nature and dysfunctional family plots.

Re: Yellowstone on Paramount

I really really wanted to love this show since I like cowboys and westerns and Kevin Costner.  However, it is dark and depressing and confusing.   Last week I finally hit the delete future recordings button and will watch no more.

Re: Yellowstone on Paramount

Love the show - great acting and scenery.  My husband and I are constantly surprised at the cursing, especially from the psycho daughter.  I have yelled at the TV more than a few times for someone to stand up to her.  I wish Kevin Costner didn't mumble so much.  I'm rooting for the youngest son and his wife to work things out.
