Those were wonderful days. The writing and acting was excellent.

This goes back to the pinnacle of soaps... Before they all went over the top with stupid story lines, inferior production values and marginal acting... Everyone in Genoa City went to Gina Roma's restaurant or the Colonnade Room... They were dressed and coiffed impeccably and the characters and their relationships were what drove the show, not trumped up ridiculous story lines, cops and robbers antics, incessantly stolen sperm samples and altered DNA, murder, mayhem or corporate intrigue... Those were the days and by all indicators, they aren't due for a return engagement...

Thank you @stevieb and @Annabellethecat66
I long for the days when there was more consideration on earth people had more control over their thoughts.
Who would have believe that in just a few decades a world would appear we don't even reconized.
Did Tracy have a thing for Danny what a great head if hair?

@javala Thanks for the trip down memory lane.. I also watched the video
of Gena, Lauren and Tracy singing on stage. Memories Memories.
I still copy Y&R, but it's become almost unwatchable for me.
There's no other way to describe it other than Stupid.
Oh yes, Tracy had a major thing for Danny
Quite the history story of them two. But I'd have to google
to remember it all.

I always enjoyed listening to Patty Weaver sing. I have one of her albums, it may be the only album she ever made, and I still enjoy playing it on my turntable.
I wish we could go back to those days of Y&R. I remember watching all the soaps, we used to call them "my stories" in those days. They were so well written without all the nonsense that became so prevalent as the years went by. One by one each soap slowly diminished itself until all but a few were left.
For those of us who are old enough to remember the heyday of soaps at least, we have our memories of what they used to be.

It is really gripping watching this parallel escape
I think Y&R has to be one of the all time grest Soap Opera.
Farewell to John Abbott I can not fine the Y&R version where Josh Groban sings To Where You Are
