🍁🎃👻 Y&R OCTOBER 2018 SPOILERS! 👻🎃🍁

Summary for Monday, October 1st from soaps.com:

At Jabot, Gloria stops Lauren from entering Billy’s office – he doesn’t want to be disturbed. Inside the office, Phyllis wants to fix Billy’s problem. Billy scoffs that they can’t replace half a million dollars before anyone realizes it’s gone. Phyllis rants he must reimburse the company and he snaps at her. After he apologizes, she offers to help, but Billy won’t allow her to bail him out. Billy joins Lauren for their meeting and casts a look back at Phyllis. Jack arrives, and Phyllis reveals that if he wants to help Billy it will take about $250,000.

At the Abbott house, Ashley sees Traci off; she has something to do that can’t wait. Kyle appears and confronts Ashley about not revealing that Billy embezzled from the company. She says the intervention was aimed at getting Billy help, and criticizes his callousness toward his uncle. Kyle recaps that everyone loves Billy, but they have to protect Jabot. He further suggests keeping quiet about the embezzlement may hurt Billy, not help him. Ashley reveals she plans to convince Traci they have to vote Billy out and she’ll have to take over. After, Kyle phones Gloria digging for information and she hangs up on him.

At Jabot, Billy sees Gloria disconnect from Kyle. She warns he may not want to go into his office. In the office, Jack debates whether he’d actually be helping Billy by giving him the money. Phyllis tells Jack that John would help him if he were alive. They both tear up as Jack pledges to help. Billy walks in as they embrace. The pair explain that Jack has agreed to cover his gambling debts. Billy balks, and Jack advises him to be man enough to take this gift. Billy knows how lucky he is to have them both – he’ll take all the help he can get. Jack wants one thing in return – he must commit to rehab. Billy agrees. Once Jack leaves, Billy holds Phyllis.

Victor meets Nikki at Crimson Lights, where she asks him to escort her to Nick’s wedding. He refuses. They bicker until Abby arrives and weighs in – she would want her dad at her wedding no matter how strained their relationship. After, Victor complains to Nikki he doesn’t have an invitation. Nikki thinks this is a chance for him to show he still loves Nicholas. Eventually, he agrees to go, but makes a crack about their son getting married to Sharon of all people…again.

At Walworth, Traci embraces Lily, and asks how she’s holding up. Lily tells her the hardest part is the guilt. She updates Traci on Devon’s visit. Traci’s pleased. Lily asks about Traci, who opens up about Billy’s failed intervention, and asks what Lily did for Neil. Lily recalls she prayed and practiced tough love. Traci counsels Lily to let the guilt go and to count on family. Later, Lily visits with the twins and enthuses about Shauna’s birthday. Mattie hates the forced smiling. Lily shares that Traci visited, and reminds them how lucky they are. Charlie admits he was skipping school, and Lily learns Charlie made a deal with Devon – he’d go to school if Devon visited her. They make a pact to help each other – they’re in this together.

At the Club, Ashley appeals to Traci to step in at Jabot – not for the company but to save Billy’s life. Traci will not humiliate him by replacing him as CEO because he’s gambling. Ashley counters Billy being ejected and humiliated is exactly what will happen if she doesn’t step in. Traci asks if she’s actually going through with this. Ashley confirms it.

At Jabot, Billy panics when he’s unable to access accounts and Gloria enters to announce Ashley’s called a board meeting – about him. In the boardroom, Jack returns, questioning being called back. Lauren announces she’s been filled in on Billy’s gambling. Jack believes he’ll stop. Abby wants to see what her mom has to say. Lauren could be swayed if he agrees to seek treatment. Outside, Traci arrives with Ashley, still bickering about stepping in. Kyle tells Ash she’s late for her own meeting. Billy begins the meeting and Ashley says she finds it problematic that the CEO has a gambling addiction – she’d like to see him get help. Phyllis declares Billy will go to rehab and doesn’t need to be voted out. Kyle argues rehab’s not a quick fix. Lauren questions who would fill in while he’s gone. They all speculate until Ashley announces Billy’s also a thief who stole half a million dollars from Jabot to support his habit. Jack and Traci can’t believe this is true, but Kyle has the financials to prove it. Jack urges Billy to tell them this is a lie. He can’t say that. Ashley calls for a vote of no-confidence in Billy Abbott.

Re: 🍁🎃👻 Y&R OCTOBER 2018 SPOILERS! 👻🎃🍁

Summary for Tuesday, October 2nd from soaps.com:

At Jabot, Billy asks the board members to consider that only he and Traci can do the job of CEO, and she’s supporting him. Traci steps forward to say she’s willing to run Jabot now that she knows he stole money – he needs help. Billy sneers that Ashley needs someone in charge that’s more compliant. Billy tells Traci their sister has sabotaged him. Kyle pipes up that embezzling wasn’t his smartest move. Jack encourages Billy to focus on beating his addiction. Billy declares he’d never sell out his family and exits, followed by Phyllis, who votes ‘no’. Once Traci is confirmed as CEO, Jack confesses he gave Billy the bulk of the money to repay Jabot; he plans to see that he keeps his word. Jack leaves, and Ashley explains to Traci she felt she had no choice but to reveal the theft today. Once alone with Ashley, Kyle reflects, “That couldn’t have gone better.” Ash accuses him of having ice water in his veins. Kyle assures Ash she’s most qualified to run the company, but notes whoever wants to take over from Traci will have to fight for it.

On the Crimson Lights patio, Summer, (played by Bayley Corman), wants to know if Mariah told Sharon about Nick and Phyllis. Mariah hasn’t, and Summer knows the secret is burning a hole right through her. They bicker as Mariah accuses Summer of wanting her to do her dirty work and warns of the people who would be hurt. Summer sniffs that her parents’ problems are just that – theirs. She urges Mariah to make a decision soon.

Inside, Arturo finds Lola helping Rey move boxes, and learns his brother’s moving in upstairs. Arturo asks about his life in Miami, while Lola urges Arturo to help. Later, at a table, Lauren enlists Abby’s help in convincing her aunt Fenmore’s is an asset. Lauren leaves, and Lola spots Abby. Arturo joins his girlfriend and they canoodle as she wonders if he’s declared a truce with Rey. After, Rey thanks Lola for getting Arturo to help. She’s alone when Kyle arrives and crows about a possible promotion. She confides her day’s been amazing too. Kyle wants to celebrate, but she’s busy. She’ll be free tomorrow, but Kyle quips he’s busy shampooing cats at the shelter.

Nick arrives at home and tells Sharon that Neil sent a gift – he won’t be attending the wedding. He learns Faith is worried since he and Sharon have disappointed her so many times and assures Sharon this time they’ll show her it’s real. Faith comes downstairs with Christian, and Sharon takes Faith to glam up. Nick tells Christian about their new house - he thinks his Uncle Adam would be pleased. Mariah enters and hears Nick tell the boy everything will be perfect. After, Mariah talks to Nick about relationships and asks if he has any unfinished business with any of his other significant women. Nick, surprised, tells her he’s 100% committed. Nick leaves, and Mariah chats with Faith, who admits she’s nervous about getting her hopes too high. They agree people should be sure before getting married.

Later, Sharon joins Mariah, who is clearly upset. Mariah didn’t want to do this to her, but she heard something and doesn’t know how to deal with hit. Sharon thinks this is about Faith’s nerves, since Mariah talked to her, but Mariah tells her this thing she heard is about Nick and Phyllis. Sharon braces herself. Mariah tearfully reveals they slept together…a few weeks ago.

At the Club, Phyllis tells Billy she’ll reimburse the company a portion of the money he owes tomorrow. Billy complains he wants nothing to do with Jabot as Jack appears and bickers with Phyllis for not being forthcoming. Phyllis wanted to keep the details quiet and repay the money. Jack wants Billy to follow through on rehab and Phyllis agrees. Jack goes, and Billy worries about Phyllis and Jack forming an alliance. Phyllis promises Jack just trusts her to get him through this. Billy worries his family won’t let him keep working at Jabot. Phyllis reassures him, then asks him to be her plus one at Nick and Sharon’s wedding. She tells him she’ll be miserable without him while he’s in rehab. That’s all Billy needed to hear.

In the CEO’s office, Traci contemplates her new position as Ashley enters and assures her she’ll be replaced soon if they follow the plan. She asks Traci to sign papers, and is surprised when Traci wants to read them over first. Traci notes she’s nobody’s puppet, but promises she’ll be out of the chair as soon as the board allows. Ash warns the power can be intoxicating…even addictive.

At the Abbott mansion, Nick, with Christian, is relieved to see Jack, his best man arrive. Jack wouldn’t miss it.

Re: 🍁🎃👻 Y&R OCTOBER 2018 SPOILERS! 👻🎃🍁

Thanks for the updates......

One thing i don't want to hear anymore and have been hearing the last few shows is Mattie protesting that her mother has been jailed "unjustly".......does she even remember that her Aunt Hillary and little cousin passed

away in that car accident??  .....I think someone should sit her down and remind her that two people are dead...even

if it was an accident!!.....and that one yr or less with good

behavior and some miracle script writing..hahaha Lily will be out before you know it...

Billy is such a slime......and i am wondering if Lauren will fire Phyllis when she realizes Phyllis knew about the gambling and eventually knew about the $$$ from Jabot...can't trust her..........i would fire her...ha.

Tired of being on the Abbot roller coaster....can we finally

have Jack be an Abbot and get it over with.....

Re: 🍁🎃👻 Y&R OCTOBER 2018 SPOILERS! 👻🎃🍁

[ Edited ]

I hope Tracy doesn't dig in and refuse to be moved out of the CEO seat... She's probably the one decent character remaining...

I found the board meeting interesting... It seems to me in the not too distant past, 'the board' consisted of a least a few 'extras', who, aside from Lauren and Phyllis, were not family members... Continuity check please...

Today's show was actually not so bad as long as the FF button was working to skip over Lily and her delusional brats... Maddie needs a serious wake-up call... Manslaughter is manslauger....

One surmises that Jill's little drive by is complete... She showed up at Billy's interevention and went to visit Princess Lil... Her job is done...

Re: 🍁🎃👻 Y&R OCTOBER 2018 SPOILERS! 👻🎃🍁

It's no surprise that Billy hasn't changed and possible can't.  I've lost count of how many characters have or had some sort of addiction ...let me see Nikki, Neil, Jack.....

I can already see the friction between Traci and Ashley once Tracey is confirmed CEO and starts taking that role seriously.

I wonder if Nick is going to tell Summer to give the money back now that she told on him......LOL.

Re: 🍁🎃👻 Y&R OCTOBER 2018 SPOILERS! 👻🎃🍁

Does the audience's addiction count?  I need at least two drinks before I can watch an episode these days but I think I am hitting tolerance and may need to raise my game.

I've not watched Y&R all that long and I am already seeing repeats.  I am pretty sure I've done the Nick & Sharon with Phyllis on the side and Jabot musical CEO chairs and Billy and his money games.

I am longing for the days of mental wards and crazy Patty and her kitty.
