Ashley interrupts Stitches proposal to Abby. Billy and Victoria declare their love for each other. Nick receives some unsettling news. Cane surprises Lily. Devon's world spins out of control. Nikki and Phyllis prepare to host a glamorous Halloween gala that is fraught with danger. A mystery person sets fire to Top of the Tower, a new restaurant at Newman Enterprises. An explosion of epic proportions will include casualties at the Newman Enterprises ballroom causing four deaths. Jack and Victor work together as the fire burns. Ashley faces her feelings for Stitch who recently became engaged to Abby. Adam risks everything after his recent arrest.

Chelsea defends her and Adam's relationship; Cane surprises Lily; Neil's plans go awry.

Nikki and Phyllis get ready for an event; the Paragon Project wreaks havoc in Genoa City.

A fire breaks out during a glamorous Halloween Gala; Devon's and Neil's search takes an unexpected turn.

As the building burns, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) must work together, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is forced to face her feelings about her daughter's fiancée, and the recently arrested Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) risks everything, as everyone faces an uncertain future

Ben and Abby meet and are having champagne. Ben speaks of how recent events have shown him to live each day and not waste any, he begins to propose...and suddenly Ashley walks over and abruptly interrupt "Hi guys". Ben gets a call back to the hospital and the moment is ruined.

Adam has no broken bones but has internal injuries and is going into surgery.
It seems like absolutely everyone is for Adam now...compared to a week ago. All of the Newman's are at the hospital. Chelsea runs to Victor asking him to please help her get in to see Adam. Victor vanishes at one point, Nikki wonders where he is.

He is at Adam and Chelsea's apt with Connor. Connor is playing with a toy airplane and says airplane several times. Victor talks to Connor about how much Adam loves him and that he had said it that very day. Then he said he was going to talk to the big father in heaven and ask him for a blessing...he wants the Lord to save his daddy, so he will be there for Connor. "I pray to the good Lord, and I want him to protect you by bringing back your daddy ok, and make sure he doesn't go to prison for a long time. He comes back, to be with you."
Meanwhile in the hospital nursery a code rings out, baby Christian has stopped breathing.

 Monday-Ashley tells Ben it was not to long ago that he told her he couldn't get Ashley off his mind, "That's a little disturbing". she says. Victor tells Jack that he wants to thank him. Paul and Kevin find Mariah laying motionless on the Underground floor, it looks like there are bits of something black on the floor around her.

Victor will pray for Adam on behalf of Connor.  Where is Victor's prayers during all the "bonehead" decisions he makes the other 364 days a year?  Sounds like this week will be a good one to watch!  Speaking of Ben, I thought something was supposed to happen to him?  Maybe at the Halloween gala?

Sounds like everyone else is "dropping like flies" (Adam, Mariah, baby Christian...)!  I used to like Ben but he hasn't been "his own man" in a long time...Ashley, Victoria, Abby, Ashley, Abby....

Well OF COURSE they have to kill some people off... they have to make room for all the boring new characters ...and quite a few of the boring old ones... and those who are hardly used...

If I have to sit and watch Sage's mug like she is smelling fresh chit I won't be able to stand it will have to leave the room. That Charlie Brown upside down  frown she has going on is enough to put me off my feed.

They're saying now when Hilary wakes up she will think she's still married to Neil and Gwen is not amused. Gwen, will put her back in a coma LOL

"back off my man, b outch"!!!!!!!!!!! The way she would look after laying on her rear for a month she wouldn't look to tempting I'm afraid in real life.
