I hung on for 15 minutes and couldn't take it anymore. Boring boring boring.

I think the series has possibilities.  I think Tailor Brinkley Cook is in this.

I liked it and see that there will be a Season 2.  That means watching it won'be a waste of time unlike Sanditon.  Of course, filming will be delayed.

I thought it looked promising, though I wasn't paying full attention.  But if it's just another love story with WWII as a backdrop, I'll be done.

Re: World On Fire -- My Opinon

I love the homefront stories. I love looking at the hairdos of that time. And the shoes. And the clothes. And the rationing. And all of it. I know I'm totally ignoring the fighting. I know it's there. It's just that I like seeing what they were doing at home.
I recorded it so haven't seen it yet.

I saw the first episode and it was okay.  I'll give the second a try and if it doesn't get better I'll stop watching.

I don't know if I liked it enough to continue. The next episode will convince me which way to go~

Re: World On Fire -- My Opinon

Just watched my recording and enjoyed it will continue to watch - I got the characters/story lines sorted out now as they did go back and forth.
