Many years ago, before Willie was famous, I went to a George Jones concert. Willie was the opening act. George was too drunk to perform so it turned into a Willie Nelson concert! It was fantastic and everyone was thrilled to death!

I just googled the special and it was on CBS so should be streaming on Paramount+ now. There's also a four episode docu-series streaming too.

@ciao_bella thank you fir that info on the celebration of Willies 90th ! I need to find it , had no idea about it or I would have certainly watched it ! I'm a huge fan of Willie, have seen him in concert many times . A couple of times At Westbury Music hall in Long Island , that was years ago I think in the early 1990's. I learned about him from my dad who was a very big fan , well of country music in general . I never was then , am now , but did appreciate Willies talent and also as a human being , very generous and kind , caring man . I read a book about his life years ago , don't remember the name of it , but it was very moving account of his life starting from his childhood .

I enjoyed. I missed the start of it. Did anyone sing 'Seven Spanish Angels' ? The duet was originally by Willie and Ray Charles. I ask Alexa for it frequently.

I agree that the one son is a look alike (younger years of course) and sound alike of Mr. Nelson.

I am glad so many geezers in the entertainment industry are long lived. For selfish reasons (my enjoyment) , I have enjoyed the specials around their birthday celebrations = Willie Nelson,Carol Burnette,Dic k Van ******, Norman Lear!
