This Wednesday marks the 23rd anniversary. I lived through the day first hand and I think I will pass this year. The day still haunts me and I have not rationalized it yet. How do you feel about it. I hope that this does not get poofed.

I hadn't heard about it. I might watch, it's still so sad to see it again. Especially thinking about the brave first responders who lost their lives years later.

No. Too sad. I watched it in previous years.
23 years ago I was 2 days away from delivering my first child.
I watched hours and hours of coverage in the hospital in the days following
9/11/01. Will never forget.

I don't need to watch it again. I can still remember seeing it live. It's been burned on my memory...where I was at that exact moment, not believing my own eyes.

I will not, too emotional. Because I was the chairman of the Red Cross chapter that handled the site I spent 4 weeks of my life at the site of the the flight 93 crash and I hope to never return again.

No, I won't be watching any coverage. Seeing it over and over again isn't helpful and I hope parents will shield young kids from it since they don't understand it's not happening at the moment.

Yes, I watch and will mourn again for all those innocent souls who were murdered that day . I think it is important for those who are ignorant of history to see and know abt this horrific tragedy.

No. It was too depressing & sad & horrible. Don't want to relive awful events like that.

No..I lived in Queens NY back then..it was a living nighmare...and smell and sight of the smoke..Lost a lot of people I knew who worked in the towers.
My kids were young..Ironically..my one son worked building the new tower.

Yes I will be watching, even if it is only for a short period of time. No matter how painful it will be, I feel an obligation, a duty, to devote a part of my day to watching something pertaining to 9/11. In my own way, it's a way of paying my respects.
I have a personal connection to what occurred and to someone that I knew that had a close family member killed.
