When I was a teenager everyone was in a band. Every party at someone's house there was a band. I always liked the drummers. My friend was a drummer. He taught me how to play the drums.

I have heard many guitarists from all of the bands from the past and they often bow down to Slash. I love Eric Clapton too.

Everyone mentioned here is amazing. These days many (if not most) of the bands pretend they are playing for some reason. You can tell by the way they strum the guitar.

The singers use auto-tune.

I forgot to say my granddaughter has been learning guitar for a few years now. When I was over my daughter's house last week she played for me.

She has an unusual music teacher. She tells him her favorite songs (they're mostly popular songs, she's 13) and he writes down the music and she learns it.

I don't think there are enough female guitar players. Just thought of that.

Neil Young in HEART OF GOLD. Did you hear him play when Paul McCartney was entered into the Music Hall of Fame, or some show like that? He and the other man who also did guitar were a 10! I kept it on DVD for awhile just so I could replay that part it was so amazing to me.
