When the new season for many talk shows return for the new season, do you think it will be in studio or still remotely from their homes? Jimmy Fallon seems to be the only talk show host that came back to the studio (of course no audience). If The View, Live With Kelly and Ryan, The Talk, etc decides to be in studio I doubt there will be an audience at first, maybe later on. As for SNL, I can't see them sitting out the season for the election, maybe they will be in studio.

Re: When Talk Shows Return

Stephen Colbert (The Late Show CBS) is back in the studio this week.   It seems the same as when he was doing it at home, though, as there is no audience at this point, either, and he's in an office.

I don't even mind the shows that I watch having people at home, or wherever, as it's easier to hear what's going on.  For me, all the audience noise makes it difficult to hear the people talking.

Do you know when 'The View' is back to current episodes?

I don't know why they had Fallon, Colbert, and  James Corden ( The Late Late Show) return to an empty studio or office, to do their shows, when doing them from home was sufficient.

The Sky looks different when you have someone you love up there.

I agree, I don't miss the audience at all.  I've even come to think that Stephen Colbert is a rather sexy-looking fellow in casual shirts and longer hair.

We watch Colbert if we are up. I like the shows from his home. The first few ones he was uncomfortable, but now he has down pat. I like it better from home.

Probably to get the crews and writers and other personnel back to work, paychecks and insurance.

The Talk is usually the week after Labor Day, wonder if they will be in the studio, but it is 5 of them sitting very close.
