What toe tapping, or swaying to the music are you doing today?

There's just some tunes you like to chime in on. One I used to was Garth Brooks, Friends in Low Places, but they just did the music that was on the one movie of the Chipmonks. I don't know who sang it or the name of the song, some of the words were "you've had a bad day"...so anyway, what song do you chime in on and sing along with?

Much to the embarresment of friends and family, I'll sing to anything and everything.   I do try to limit most of it to my car. Smiley Happy

Glenn Miller's ''In the Mood'' has me dancing all over the room.

In the car we have satellite radio tuned to the 50's on 5. Love the oldies.

I agree with you, judaline.

Love anything from Glenn Miller - my all time favorite.   But my whole family loves "Footloose".  It even gets the little great grands dancing.

When my oldest daughter (now a Grandmother herself) was a little one, her very favorite to dance to was "The Batle of New Orleans".  She still loves it.

Re: What toe tapping, or swaying to the music are you doing today?

I like a lot of the songs of the 60's.  Happy Together by the Turtles, I like them because I can understand the words vs Rap music.  Although that said one of my favorite performers is.......wait for it....Eminem.  Now you have to understand, it's the MUSIC I like.  I don't understand most of what he's saying and he can't sing at all, but the music (like with Rianna) is wonderful.

I like some of the music of today.  I discovered a radio station (XM radio called Velvet) it's modern but the kind of rap that isn't stupid and more mellow music.

My late husband and I met at a dance.  Music has always been something that gets us moving.  He and I used to win dance contests (just rock and roll).
