For me, it's every "reality" show ever created.  Honestly, there's no "reality" in them.  They are all scripted and fake and some are scuzzy and nasty and I don't why they are so popular.  I have no idea at all.  I have watched an episode or two of most of them but I never go back.  I'd rather stare at  blank wall than watch that stuff.

I watched Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, and the first few episodes of How to Get Away with Murder and I've come to the conclusion that I just don't need to see any more Shonda Rhimes shows.

They all go completely over the top and I'm shocked none of them have (yet) incorporated a mustachioed evil twin, like a daytime soap.

I call it Rocket Romano Syndrome, because it reminds me of when ER went completely off the rails and got more and more outrageous until they had obnoxous Doctor Romano lose an arm to the blades of a helicopter on the rooftop landing pad one season and then, the very next season, had Romano killed by a helicopter landing on him.

All of Shonda's shows suffer from that same level of outrageoueness, where the shows become less about how the characters live and more about "Who will die!" episode teasers.

Easy one:   This is Us.   I watched most of season one and every episode I asked myself why I was watching.   

I knew I didn't watch much mainstream TV but noticed that every time I come here, I haven't heard of or watched hardly any show mentioned or in the subject line.   

I'm hoping for new shows this year to try out.

I  agree with most of the ones already listed....but I'll add one that am not sure of the correct title for it but...My big Fat Gypsy Wedding?...

Women beating each other up in a parking lot at a wedding with every other word bleeped out because it was full of f-bombs.

I was in shock yesterday when I came across it flipping channels....
