Northern Exposure.
Wasn't there one called "Family"? Think Sada Thompson was in it and Kristy McNichol.
Mary Tyler Moore one, in newsroom.
Newsroom,
Bob Newhart ones. Any of his.

I for "escape viewing" - I like sci-fi and supernatural horror. I'm always on the lookout for marathon showings! Some were very short-lived:
The Outer Limits
The Twilight Zone
X-Files
Being Human
Kindred
The Prisoner (I have a lot of the episodes on DVD)
Nothing good on now - so I get my sci-fi and supernatural horror fix from books.

@CANDLEQUEEN wrote:I miss quite a few:
Motive-very unique and different
Whiskey Cavalier-just kind of cute
The Catch-again a little different, good cast
The Practice-good cast, and different from Grey's Anatomy..
Scandal-the early years...
There was a law thriller I believe also called The Practice-liked that as well.....
I am sure I will think of more and have to edit my post! lol!
The Fix
Early years of Criminal Minds(at least we have reruns).....
Also adding Sex and The City and Sisters(an 80's drama_)...
Edited to add: Desperate Housewives and Revenge!

I loved Nashville, from the first episode, to the last!
And La Femne Nikita, not the remake, but the original TV version, on USA. So ahead of its time, really good show, and I loved the chemistry between gorgeous French Canadian, Roy Dupuis, and PETA Wilson!

There are so many. Some go back to the 80s and my childhood and some are more recent.
Facts of Life
Who's The Boss?
Golden Girls
Three's Company
Everybody Loves Raymond
King of Queens
With everything going on, I really feel like curling up and watching these shows. They make me feel good, remind me of a better (and more innocent) time, and take me away from the reality of what is happening. I don't have lots of time to watch tv lately, but I have noticed that some channels are playing these old episodes. I watch when I can and just doing that makes me feel better... for a little while...

Meerkat Manor.
3rd Rock from the Sun What a funny series!
AND: Found both of them-one on GO, another on Roku.
Anybody who has HULU, Roku, even Netflix-you can find so many older shows for free.
FilmRise is free (a few commercials) even has original Batman. LOL
