The most upsetting was The Exorcist. That movie scared the #%$& out of me. To this day I still can't watch it.

I'm very emotional. It doesn't take much to make me cry!

One old one that always gets me is Back Street. Most of the others I'm thinking of have been mentioned. I'm thinking of A Walk to Remember and The Notebook. I also think of Summer of '42.

I cry at ALL Disney movies. My children will tell you how embarrassed they were when they were young and mom was sobbing at the end of Toy Story or Tarzan!  Smiley Wink

@Jersey Born I had the same reaction to the movie!  I went with a Korean American friend and we cried our eyes out and went to a favorite Korean restaurant for dinner.  I know its about Chinese Americans but the themes and characters resonated across cultures and identities.  I felt the same about Smoke Signals, To Kill a Mocking Bird, Sounder, Glory, El Norte, Xala, Selma. and so many more.

Some of the more disturbing for me were The Piano, Midnight Cowboy (it makes me sad remembering the scenes, especially the final bus ride), and recently, Verite', a 1920s German film.
