I would assume the Nancy Drew series will be as you said more sinister and updated.  I haven't heard too much but the TV station briefly advertises it for new fall viewing. I only needed to see Nancy Drew and I knew it would be a show to check out.  

When I was young I read the Nancy Drew books which came out in the fifties, I loved them!  I hope the new series isn't too far fetched and too far from the books.  I know they have to update but I would assume the characters will be the same, main ones that is.  

Time will tell if we Nancy Drew fans approve or give it the thumbs down!!!!!  At least it is a new series worth considering!

DH liked The Good Dr. and Bull - The Good Dr., I lost interest in and I never like Michael Weatherly as Bull.  After his stuff with the co-star I was out. Plus I don't like Phil McGraw and he had a hand in it.

DH also liked Blue Bloods but no family is that perfect.  Plus Jamie married Velcro aka Eddie and Danny is going to blow a blood vessel some day.  He'd scream at me once and he's be gone.

I see at lot of Discovery channel, Animal Planet and reading this winter. lol

I just started watching the goldbergs.  I really like the way at the end they show the original film.  Its a nice show.
