Don't make me watch that movie!!!
Every time I start to watch My Dog Skip, I chicken out and reach for the remote.

Definitely Beaches and Steel Magnolias. Also Disney's Dumbo.
Cried at the end of ET and when Groot "died" in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Going My Way when Bing Crosby sang the Irish Lullaby (Too-Ra-Loo-Ra-Loo-Ral) as the priests (Barry Fitzgerald) mother (whom he hadn't seen in years) walks down the aisle to see her son.

You're right about Immitation of Life
Steel Magnolias is my choice
But I have to mention, Brian Piccalo life story too.
and in To Kill a Mockingbird, the court trial scene, with the innocent man.
Greyfriar's Bobby. (Animal movies, and the one name one about the dog who waited for his master, who never returned, I think Gere was in that one.)
The sport stories where someone comes out on top, or wins a long hard fought battle.
Or a military one, where it's filled with pride. That does it every time!!

Hi Everyone!
Longtime reader here, and I had to jump in on this one.
Most everything with animals reduces me to tears, whether it's a happy or sad film.
i was a tiny tot when my grandmother took me to see Bambi, and cried my eyes out.
Saw My Dog Skip alone, and the audience was filled wth adults. We were all crying and we ladies met up in the restroom after the movie, smiling as we saw each other with our red, swollen eyes.
But the movie that had me literally hystercial was Hachi: A Dog's Tale. It's a little known movie starring Richard Gere. A must-see for dog lovers.
Also A Dog's Purpose.
The theme music from Forrest Gump.
So many more.....
