Maybe the movie was " No Way Out " with Sean Young.  It abt " A coverup and witchhunt occur after a politician accidentally kills his mistress ". He plays the naval officer .

OMG HOW did I forget....Father Debricassart and Meg in The Thornbirds!! When she's at the beach house island, after her divorce...he shows up, chases her down the beach as she's resisting him....until...she doesn't..they fall to the beach together...sigh.

I rewatched The Thornbirds during pandemic...❤️ It's just. so. good.

Yes, amazing...how could I forget THIS movie...an absolute favorite of mine.

And the music....I bought the soundtrack I loved it so much!

Brad was beyond beautiful...his hair perfectly highlighted.

Another good kiss was Meg Ryan in "French Kiss" where she is asleep in the tran and rolls over and kisses Robert (?) Kline but she imagines it's her boyfriend.

I love that movie!

Yep, that's my favorite too! In fact, that is my all time favorite movie (even though I know it's a miniseries!)
