Wednesday 2/07/2018 Celebrity Big Brother Live Feed Spoilers and Updates!!!

Our short celebrity version of BB kicks off tonight! There have been three fifteen minute leaks of live feeds giving us some hint of what's going on. It looks like there's an all girl alliance with either Keshia or Shannon as HOH, and James as the target for eviction. Shannon apparently won POV. Mark may be a replacement nominee to send him a message, but he's not the prime target. If the girls succeed in picking off a guy, the guys will be outnumbered 6-4. (Ross may be part of the girls' alliance which would make it 7-3 against the guys.)

On tonight's show we'll see the celebs enter the house and the early scheming. Then the first HOH will be selected and the nominations. We get shows Wednesday, Thursday, a two hour show Friday, and shows Sunday and Monday. There will be lot's of BB on TV for the next few weeks.

@gardenman, uh-oh, I have less than twelve hours to decide if I'm in or out...No matter. I'm writing because I'm wondering if you can come up with an alternative word to "celebrity." They're not! Maybe a fun word?

"Celebrity" encompasses pretty much everyone in these days of YouTube and Facebook. Some of the players are (or were for a while) legitimate celebrities. Shannon Elisabeth was a celeb during her "American Pie" days. Omarosa has gotten a ton of airtime. Jay Leno made Ross the intern the most famous intern (well, besides Monica Lewinski) in the country. Keshia Knight Pulliam parlayed her time as Rudy Huxtable into a number of roles including some time as a co-host on The View. By modern standards they're "celebrities." They're certainly not A-listers, but they're all known to some extent and that pretty much makes one a celebrity these days.

Ariadne, the former beauty pageant contestant, aspires to achieve celebrity. (She's wondered what level of nudity is acceptable on BB, so she's got the attention of the male viewers.)

You could call some of them 'has beens,' but that wouldn't fit Ariadne. I'm not sure there's a better word than celebrity for this group. They're all known to some extent, but not really famous. If any of them showed up at a party at your house, they'd likely be viewed as a celebrity, so I guess that makes them a celebrity.

Well, count me in to follow along here. I had no idea it was starting tonight. Since there is nothing else on, I will tune in to figure out who everyone is. But once the Olympics start--I'll probably spend my time there. Or Bachelor Winter Games. LOL

@gardenman, you're right. You can't very well call them People Lori Has Never Heard Of.

The only ones I've heard of is Omarosa who I despise and who signed a NDA so nothing interesting coming out of her, Metta World Peace who I was a fan of but can't take seriously since he changed his name and Ross Matthews who is nails on a chalkboard to me,

In a departure from the normal BB entry ceremony, it looks like tonight's entry will take place with the cast walking a red carpet behind a velvet rope line. (Based on a photo that was released anyway.) It'll be something different.

I've never been a Ross fan. He's always been performing rather than natural in my opinion. He's been more of an overly caffeinated cartoon character than a real person to me. Getting to see him 24/7 might let us see the real Ross. Assuming there is a real Ross. It's hard to play a role 24/7, so we'll see more of who these people truly are than we would otherwise. If Ross truly is the hyper Ross we typically see, I'll just switch feeds whenever he's on.
