@Annabellethecat66 wrote:@kaydee50 I agree about the drugs. I wonder how many people go to their Drs, pull out a piece of paper and say I want "bla bla". The Dr says, "Well, you don't have this or that. That bla bla is for something you don't have". Something like that.
It's stupid and I also hate seeing all of these drugs advertised. It takes seconds for them to say all of the problems these drugs cause.
I do like the add for something, forget what it's for but it has the Boys 2 Men singing all of the problems that arise if you take a particular drug. That one is funny but I don't think it's for a drug, something else. Maybe Citi Bank?
The Boyz 2 Men singing the side effects at the pharmacy is funny! :womanlol

@Vivian Florimond wrote:In the scheme of things, this is just annoying, but as soon as a particular Wayfair ad (online furniture) comes on, I can't change the channel fast enough. It's the one where people dance around their new furniture. The "dancing" is atrocious and gets on my last nerve. What's your most despised TV commercial?
@Vivian I hate the Wayfair ads too......the actors are so embarrassing to watch...they make these ads for someone who is not the sharpest knife in the drawer......
And as far as that Wayfair ad....it's not only annoying, but I don't think that price on that bedding ensemble is very good either......I can do better at Stein Mart, Home Goods, Marshalls, Bed, Bath & Beyond.........

I thought the Burger King Ad was gone but it's back and creepier than ever.

@Group 5 minus 1ITA about Burger King ad. I always said that James Earl Jones was an actor I could listen to reading the phone book and enjoy it----apparently not, or at least not to hear a commercial about hamburgers . It is very loud also.
I do think the AT&T commercial with a man in the shower(?) crying loudly has disappeared . For awhile one channel played that back to back .

I don't know if it's my imagination or what, but I thought I read where it's so expensive to make these commercials, that's why they show them over and over.
I mean, really! What does it cost to show a statue talk about the smell in a bathroom.

The winner of the most distasteful ad is...
Viagra or Cialis
Somethings need to stay in the bedroom, or between a doctor & patient, most certainly not for general public consumption!

What annoys me about the Trivago ad is how many decibels higher it is than any other television program or ad. I hate that with a capital H.

Dancing phobia? I usually mute the tv during commercials because most commercials annoy me. The only commercials that seriously annoy me are the cancer drug commercials because they are dumb. Cancer patients don't choose their own drugs like they are foot creams or headache pills. So, if those commercials are targeted to physicians, why are they on tv? The other ones are the abused animals commercials. Yes, I get that they are meant to tug at our heart strings and make us pull out our CC's and make that call. But they come on so often are so poorly done and maudlin that they have the opposite affect on me. They are just a big turn off.
