Watching an “old” show on TV this morning

[ Edited ]

From the early 2000's....LasVegas.  It reminds me of The Love Boat...using  somewhat famous well known actors doing  parts in each  show.  Pretty "racy" for its day.....

I never watched it before...not bad...but definitely Love Boat type drama. There were 106 episodes over 5 seasons.

 I might have to  watch a few episodes today...seems they are having a marathon on E! Channel right now.

The series originally centered on Ed Deline (James Caan), a strict ex-CIA officer who went from being head of security to becoming president of operations of the Montecito, whose job is to run the day-to-day operations of the casino. Following his departure from the series in season five, former Marine Danny McCoy (Josh Duhamel), Ed's former protégé, became the Montecito's new president of operations.

The series abruptly ended with a cliffhanger because NBC cancelled Las Vegas in the offseason following season five.

@SeaMaiden

We've been watching it as well. I remember watching it years ago. I think I just love Vegas. I probably would have gone this fall if not for the current uncertainty of travel.

I have it on DVD.  It's a great show.

I like how it evolves over the years and the different owners.

I remember it from its original NBC prime time run. It comes on E Channel as well as another channel now.
