We're friends with the parents of the first artist singing, Luke Combs.  He grew up singing in the church George Vanderbuilt built.  He's quite talented.

Re: Watching The CMA Awawds?

I'm not a big huge award show person but out of them all, this is my favorite.

It's cool when you know someone or have some kind of connection.  The first award show after DH and I had been to Nashville was neat because they had some of the artists out and about in various bars and we knew just where they were because we had been there.  Then we noticed one of the musicians we had seen in Printers Alley, up on stage with a major act.
