  A interview with Judge Judy by Harvey Levin in 2017

She told her life story from her childhood... and her hopes and dreams...Pretty interesting! She is now a billionaire... She and her husband own 5 huge homes... Just calls them investments.... she is still working and involved in many TV shows that are on air. Really quite an amazing woman.

  In one segment Harvey asked her when she KNEW she had made it... Judy said that when she could buy the black $300 pair of shoes she wanted without waiting for them to come on sale... that was when she knew.

No matter how filthy rich I was I would always wait for the shoes to go on sale. I'm way too thrifty!

I started recording Judge Judy shows in March because Hot Bench was pre-empted by General Hospital every day for local press conferences that were pre-empting GH.

I like my Hot Bench fix every day so Judge Judy was the second best thing.

She was great in the beginning but she is now just a crotchety person. She throws out almost every case presented and her bias is beginning to show.

No she doesn't.  Her bias is frivolous cases and/or counter claims.  Those get thrown out to be shown on down the road on "The Justice Network."

whenever I see Judge Judy (which isn't often--I got over her a long time ago), I'm reminded of what Mammy said to Scarlett O'Hara in Gone With The Wind:

"You can take a mule and shine up its hooves and brush its coat and put in a silver harness and make it look real pretty but all you've got is a mule in a horse harness."

That's what I think of Judge Judy: she's rude and arrogant--"a mule in a horse harness"

I was never a fan of that show.   Every time I saw even a portion, I'd get sad because of how ridiculously stupid the people were ....  good grief.
