So I was off work today and it was so nasty and cold outside, so I didn't leave the house.  I have no idea what's on tv in daytime so I got bored.  I have Roku tvs and watch my favorite network evening shows, but was looking for something to watch today.  Downloaded the Freevee app (free) and watched a movie called Widows with Viola Davis and it was pretty good.  There are several I might check out on evenings when there's not much on.  They have a big selection and like I said, all free!  So glad I don't have cable anymore!

Re: Watched a really good movie

@Pantsonfire2   Yes I have Roku tvs that offer many free apps and selections of tv and movies under those apps.  We do have Hulu, Netflix and Sling but the cost is still half of what I had with cable and there was never anything on cable.  I grabbed a few 20$ tv antennas that I attached to the back of the tvs and I get all my local channels free and clear.   Amazing how little cable really offers.

Re: Watched a really good movie

There are so many free streaming services it's hard to keep track of what you saw where.

We have YouTubeTV and Frndly TV.  Those are what I watch.  I don't watch any of the free.

Re: Watched a really good movie

Freevee has a lot of good movies.  I just have Peacock with my comcast.  I watch those two. Don't subcribe to any of the other.  Mayfbe when I get rid of cable and just have internet.

Right now I get 30.00 discount every month for cable.  When that ends, I will get rid of cable.
