Sure looked like the queen of Downton's kitchen turning out to be a bit of a bully on The Catch. Seemed strange to see her with a different personality. Loved it! 

If it wasn't her, she has a twin!

And Linda Lavin (who, way back when, was "Alice" the waitress on tv) was cast as the groom's gangster mother!

@GingerPeach Oh, wonder if I missed seeing that episode. I don't recall Linda being on. And unless they really had her done up with a totally different look, I would have spotted her right away!

That wasn't Linda Lavin.  That was Mimi Kennedy.  She also played the mom on "Dharma & Greg."

I have not watched this episode yet.  However, from the previews saw that it was Mrs. Patmore.  Cannot wait to see the episode waiting in my DVR

@LogoFan Oh, dear....hope I didn't spoil it for you by mentioning her change in personality for the role. 

I'm usually the last person to watch a program that I've recorded, so I try to keep away from the TV and Movies forum until I do.

I rechecked the credits.  It was Mimi Kennedy, not Linda Lavin.  They look so much alike.
