I just luv this show.  Those Vikings sure did have some fabulous rites of ceremony didn't they?  I can't imagine all the work that goes into putting on a show like this.  It is just fantastic in every way and there are only 2 episodes left. 

The ending where the little girl was peering into the frozen water and seeing Lagertha reunite in death w/Ragnar was just beyond anything I could have imagined.  I feel like crying just thinking about it.

I will have to rewatch last week's episode and this past episode on a binge watch this weekend.  It figures that the best program on "free" cable tv is not going to be renewed, but I'm hoping that the finale will be epic.  I'm kinda leaning toward Ivar getting back together w/Bjorn and Ubber(sp?).  Hvitserk is a goner.

I could be mistaken but, I could have sworn the announcer said there are 2 episodes left BEFORE the grand finale.

I checked the History channel line up and I only see 2 more episodes.

Maybe the final episode will be 2 hours instead of 1. 

I hope so.  Seems like there will have to be the battle of all battles w/all these characters - King Harald, Bjorn, Ivar, Prince Oleg and what will become of the young Prince?  and Prince Oleg's brother?  I think Prince Oleg will wind up getting "axed" - no pun intended, by the brother he maimed so severely.

Any thoughts on how it will all end?

         I was also amazed at the funeral ceremony.  One of things I have loved about this series is that the sets/scenery have been so detailed and so extraordinary!  Really a thing of beauty; seems to parallel any movie I have ever seen!!  The sets, costumes and hairstyles should receive awards!!

Vikings: Vahalla Netflix 2021 spinoff series

 A new saga begins 100 years after the original series concludes, dramatizing the adventures of the most famous Vikings who ever lived.

I'll definitely check it out.
