TV and Movies

I will miss the Emmys, but I always enjoy anything by Ken Burns.  And, I guess its a time I cant ever forget.  So many boys I knew went there, some came back while others came back forever changed. While I have always had a deep respect for the men and women who served, I did not believe in that war.  I marched against that war many times, was arrested once so I want to really see how it is portrayed by Ken Burns.  I think Ken Burns will do that era justice.

I'll be watching it, too. There was an article in my local paper about this series. It took him and his collaborater more then 10 years to complete.

My hubs & I are both huge history buffs and watch anything by Ken Burns. Wouldn't miss it for the world. It's going to be a tough watch though because I know so many VN war veterans.

Ken Burns does amazing documentaries.  I recently started watching The West and was so intrigued I stayed up all night and well into the next day watching all the episodes.  I learned a lot I didn't know.  The Dust Bowl was excellent also.

I will watch, but it will take me forever to get through it.  That's a lot of hours of commercial free tv.
